Ages ago I told you Yahoo! and Microsoft would agree to connect their Instant Messaging networks, so users of both Yahoo! and MSN (now Windows Live) messengers would be able to communicate with each other via their favorite application.

It is now official! Of course for users to take advantage of this newly introduced convenience, they should be using the latest version of either messenger, and also sign up for the service, which is going to be test driven at first and then available to everyone.
