Web 2.0 SF 2010 Expo

The Web 2.0 Expo is well underway in San Francisco, where for the next couple of days the future of the web will be discussed by industry gurus, in between a scavenger hunt and other fun events. You can watch keynotes live here (hat tip: Nikos), while you wait for videos to be uploaded on their Blip.tv channel. Of course, you can follow everything happening on the expo’s official twitter.

Having access to all this information is almost as good as actually being there. Almost, but not quite. Note to self: travel more.

According to the WordPress development blog:

The idea is to bring WordPress users and developers so we can meet each other face to face, share stories, and try to figure out the future of our little corner of the online publishing revolution.

WordPress has long been my favorite blogging platform, and I wish I had known of this earlier so I could go. Unless I come up with an extra $3,000 over the next couple of days and get transatlantic tickets… Nevertheless I expect it to be both a fun and productive event, taking WordPress yet one more step ahead.
