British Throne, The long line of succession

You learn something new every day. So, today I will give you some new and mostly worthless information, which may however come in handy next time you play trivia.

According to the all wise Wikipedia, there is a veeeeeery long Line of Succession to the British Throne.

With 907 people currently on it… First in line is HRH The Prince of Wales, and on number 907 we find Princess Marie Louise of Schaumburg-Lippe.

Most of these people live all over the world, and I don’t think they ever all meet at the same place and time together. So, no matter which volcano erupts, there’s always going to be someone on the British Throne. What a relief!

I do wonder however. If you were (hypothetically) sitting somewhere up that line, what would be your best chance to take over? Got any suggestions?

    convert all the people above you in the line to catholicisim, they will all be deleted from the list leaving you with ABSOLUTE POWER!!! muwahahahaha…ha

    Well I am, as a matter of fact, in that line.
    My plan is to either gather a posse of people and kill them all, or convert them to catholicism.
