EU Services Directive

I was over at Margot Wallstrom’s (Vice-President to the European Commission) blog the other day. Her latest post started off with a joke on the bird flu, and I quote:

A: I’m immune to this bird flu, you know
B: What do you mean?
A: I’ve been married to a “fowl” chick all my life!

It isn’t every day you meet a politician with a sense of humor.

Later on, she gets on to more serious stuff, announcing the European Parliament’s decision to finally compromise on a solution for the directive on the free movement of services in the European Union (EU). After two very long years of going at it.

Quite interesting if you live and work in Europe, or would like to have an idea of what is happening over there.
