The water broke

Walking down the street the other day I noticed a peculiar flood on an otherwise sunshiny day. They were digging the street and hit a water pipe. So, here’s the picture. What seems to be a lake is really tram lines.

I’ve heard about hunting accidents before. It seems that it’s something like “when you play with fire, you eventually get burned”. But I never thought a US vice-president would cause one. So, when I read about Mr Cheney accidentally shooting his hunting fellow Harry Whittington, I was surprised.

Imagine walking inside a barn on a dark night, and suddenly seeing three fluorescent green pigs staring at you! What do you do? Faint? Run? Or do you thank modern science for a breakthrough?
